ওগো, শোনো কে বাজায়!
বনফুলের মালার গন্ধ বাঁশির তানে মিশে যায়
অধর ছুঁয়ে বাঁশিখানি        চুরি করে হাসিখানি,
বঁধুর হাসি মধুর গানে প্রাণের পানে ভেসে যায়।
           ওগো শোনো কে বাজায়।
কুঞ্জবনের ভ্রমর বুঝি বাঁশির মাঝে গুঞ্জরে,
বকুলগুলি আকুল হয়ে বাঁশির গানে মুঞ্জরে।
যমুনারই কলতান         কানে আসে, কাঁদে প্রাণ,
আকাশে ঐ মধুর বিধু কাহার পানে হেসে চায়।
        ওগো, শোনো কে বাজায়।

সময় আসন্ন হলে
     আমি যাব চলে,
হৃদয় রহিল এই শিশু চারাগাছে--
     এর ফুলে, এর কচি পল্লবের নাচে
           অনাগত বসন্তের
     আনন্দের আশা রাখিলাম
           আমি হেথা নাই থাকিলাম।
